I ordered the duck porridge with added meat (an additional $3) and was very disappointed with the portion size of the meat. There was so little that I could fit every piece on my spoon. I can't imagine how little meat there would have been if I hadn't added it. I'm disappointed because I usually love their food.

Ah Fat Braised Duck Rice & Kway Chap (Tampines Hub): Duck is Good, But Kway Chap Needs Some Flavor (3/5 Stars) Rating: • Atmosphere: 3/5 (Typical hawker centre setting, clean and comfortable) • Food Quality: 3/5 (Tender and flavorful duck, but kway chap was bland, and the portion size was smaller than expected) • Service: 3/5 • Value: 3/5 (Prices were reasonable, but the lack of flavor in the kway chap made the value questionable) Overall: 3/5 Today, Donkey and I set out on a cycling adventure, ending our journey at Tampines Hub for a well-deserved lunch. We were drawn to the long queue at Ah Fat Braised Duck Rice & Kway Chap, hoping for a delicious treat. I opted for Set A with two extra kway, thinking the ingredients would be enough for two. However, when it was served, we found that the portion was rather small, not really enough for two people. Despite the initial hopefulness, we found that the kway chap and kway were unfortunately rather bland. The kway chap lacked the depth of flavor we expected, and even after I added extra sauce, it remained underwhelming. While the duck was tender and flavorful, the overall experience left us wanting more. We suspect that the long queue might be due to patrons opting for the duck rice instead of the kway chap. We'll definitely be back to try the duck rice and update our rating accordingly. Given our experience, we'd suggest giving Ah Fat a 3-star rating on Google for now. While the duck was good, the blandness of the kway chap ultimately disappointed us, and the portion size was smaller than expected.

"A clean studio at Tampines Hub, which is a good location. Do take note that the studio only opens 15 minutes before class starts, so don’t arrive too early. The class itself was okay, with clear instructions. My class wasn’t full, so I felt the spacing was adequate, but it might feel too squeezed if it were."

I arrived there on time, at 3:59, yet the staff told me the class had started and the system automatically cancelled my reservation on ClassPass. Again, it seems another company is using the ClassPass loophole to make extra money…

Sharing my honest review as a ClassPass user who has been there a couple of times. I was once rejected for being late, but I accepted it as their rules and tried to be on time afterward. Compared to the Bedok branch, this branch is relatively more cramped with a low ceiling, so the hot yoga class can get very hot. If the class is full, it can be very stuffy. Most of the instructors are great, except for a few less satisfactory encounters. There’s one who sounds stern and rough, which makes it very uncomfortable for a yoga class, so I try to avoid her classes. And there are two who give yoga instructions in a very Singlish way, with too much "ah," "orh," etc., which makes it rather distracting. Overall, it’s still a pleasant place for yoga during off-peak hours, as it’s affordable and well-maintained.

"I was one minute late and denied entry, even though I have been going to Yoga Inc. for more than three years and have seen instructors wait for latecomers for up to five minutes. I understand if I was more than five minutes late, but I arrived at 10:31. Not to mention it was raining, and no empathy was shown. This feels like unfair treatment, as others have been let in despite being late. Not only that, but they also wouldn't allow me to mark my attendance. Unfortunately, I will not be booking classes with them in the future, as we are all human and things can happen from time to time. Other studios are much more compassionate with their policies AND have better classes. Based on the many reviews highlighting the same issue, Yoga Inc. doesn't seem to be customer-driven at all and seems to just be out to get late fees, not actually focusing their efforts on customer retention. This will likely result in fewer and fewer customers attending this establishment; it has definitely been dwindling over the years."

"Having been a member for more than 3 years, I've found that YOGA Inc's management has become very poor lately. First, they closed down the Buona Vista branch within a month, and what happened to those who still had lots of passes? Second, they changed the venue to a new hub at Cecil Street. There's no sign board below the building to give clear directions to the new hub. The building doesn't have a 13th floor, and the lift only goes up to the 12th floor. This is ridiculous! Who would know there's a staircase behind the emergency door? The two receptionists have terrible attitudes; one seems sick and can't even talk properly, and the other refuses to communicate! My attendance was marked as a late cancellation after being late for 8 minutes due to getting lost. No phone number for the person in charge was provided to communicate with! In short, very bad service, and I won't recommend it!"

There are so many good yoga establishments around Tampines. Why would you even want to support one that doesn't seem to have a human face or heart? If you're considering signing up for classes here, be aware that: 1. There is only a mobile phone number associated with this place. 2. Your calls to the mobile number are rarely picked up (or, as many reviewers will tell you, never) by a part-time person (as was my experience). She said, "Oops, sorry, I didn’t see the phone ring.” I guess this is why so many people have trouble making it to their lessons on time. If only this place had a real telephone that rings, with a motivated receptionist who could tell you where they are located! 3. They are strict with their punctuality policy, even though I called twice well before my class to ask for directions (as it's located in a big place). Under no circumstance will they admit their mistake or let you attend, or even mark your attendance to avoid the no-show fees if you are using ClassPass. The inflexible instructors will not admit you, even if it’s a small class at a basic level. 4. This business doesn't seem to have a human face. I asked many times to speak to someone in charge but was told that no such person exists. While people may give 5 stars for their instructors, good luck if you have issues with your fees or if one day they close their shop on you. You won’t have a clue who to contact or what number to dial to speak to a person in charge. If you want to practice yoga, why not support other, better yoga establishments or instructors who seek a more genuine relationship with their customers? As you can read in most reviews, Yoga Inc. has lousy customer service and shows no signs of wanting to improve, even with repetitive problems being highlighted here!
