We came here for ice cream near closing time and were delightfully surprised by how sweet and chirpy the staff were!
They told us that their waffles are a must-try, but unfortunately, they had already closed the waffle station. However, they could still serve us a scoop of ice cream. The lady behind the counter was also kind enough to give me an extra spoon! :p
We got cookies 'n cream and chocolate ice cream, which were quite nice!

It seems the yumminess has arrived at OTH and is definitely a joy for those visiting OTH. With cute cakes, ice cream, and more, what more could one ask for? 🤭🥳
There is no seating *at* the shop, but knowing OTH, there are plenty of seats and benches nearby. The place looks bright and well-lit, attracting busy shoppers.
So before it gets busier, quickly grab your sweet treat!

"It's easy to find waffles, but hard to find *decent* waffles that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Kudos to the Muslim lady who served me. We had a random conversation about life while I was waiting for my waffles. Excellent customer service and good food. This is my second time buying, and I'll be sure to patronize again whenever I have a craving."
"Nice aunty making the waffles, with such great, friendly service! I love waffles and can confirm that the waffles here are super yummy and fluffy. I enjoyed mine with handcrafted strawberry jam. Will be back to try other flavors!"
I went to try their newly launched waffles and paired them with their handmade strawberry jam. It was so good because the waffle wasn’t too thick. The strawberry jam was perfect; it wasn’t too sweet or sour, but just the right balance.
"I loved the auntie who prepared my waffle on Monday around 1:30 pm. She was very friendly and bubbly. I asked her to surprise me with the flavor, and she did! She even gave me a spoonful of her homemade strawberry jam to try. The waffle was fragrant with a pandan scent and crispy on the outside. The bag used for the waffle was also good quality and didn't tear, unlike the usual waffle stores where the paper bags often tear after a while."
I have always loved the confectioneries served at Jelly Hearts. As someone with a sweet tooth, this is one of the must-visit places! Additionally, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and they weren't stingy with their time at all.
Reviews mention bad service due to the uncle's attitude, but this is a hawker centre, not a restaurant! So, in my opinion, it's perfectly acceptable to have less-than-stellar service. In fact, if a stall can survive with bad service, it likely means the food is extremely good. However, my one-star rating isn't because of the uncle's bad attitude, which I also experienced like other patrons. It's because of the food. The dry fish ball noodles I ordered were very overcooked and turned soggy. They also had an overly strong noodle taste that even the chili and seasoning sauces couldn't cover. Fish ball noodles are one of the hardest dishes to mess up, and this stall managed to achieve that. Hence, this will definitely be my first and last time visiting. I'm giving it one star because, even at a cheap $2.80 for a bowl of noodles, it's hard to find something this bad today.
