DATE AND TIME: 2025-01-11 14:39:15 The counter lady (she was the only one working when we came) was extremely rude. My friend and I were deciding what to order when we approached the counter. While placing our order, we changed our minds because we realized the regular cup was too small for us to share. My friend kindly asked if we could change the size to a medium. However, the counter lady responded rudely, saying, "You've already taken so long to decide, and now you want to change?" After that, when we gave her the money for the medium-sized cup, she rudely snatched it from us and continued with her business.

"The oil wasn't hot enough. The person deep-frying the tater tots ended up with them all crumpled up. Also, there wasn't enough powder coating, just a thin layer on top."

Originating from Indonesia, they sell fried foods like french fries, chicken nuggets, and even onion rings! The cups come in 5 different sizes, and they provide a reference to show you how big each cup is! I went for the regular fries since it was my first time here; they cost $3. All fries come with seasoning, and you can pick which one you'd like! There are also combos available. This place is worth it for the flavor of the food! The fries tasted hot and fresh and were well-packed in the paper bag!

"Ordered the so-called sweet potato balls and received a sad-looking portion. What's up with the customer service? They mentioned it comes with flavored powder, so why post about it on Facebook if you can't commit? Don't post something so contradictory. When I sent them the screenshot, they chose to ignore it. Why call your company 'Shake Shake' when you can't even commit, and it's not cheap either?"

"This was my first time here today. The food is good; we had the beef and unagi, along with a salad and a drink. It's not an economical meal, but the quality of the food is decent. Uncle Robert was the true superstar. He was friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Staff like him are the heart of an eatery."

Visited on August 27, 2022. I was surprised by the karaage chicken rice. It's been a long time since I've had karaage chicken, and I think it's okay to reward myself after 30km of cycling today, especially on a rainy day! 😊

The Chicken Karage is pretty good—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It also comes with a nice bowl of Miso soup! The beef bowl is not bad either. For hot green tea, you can get unlimited refills from their hot water machine. One thing that affected me was the air conditioning. The shop is situated beside an automated glass door, which is next to the carpark where people are constantly coming in and out. That's probably why it felt pretty stuffy. Overall, the renovation is new. If it weren't for the air conditioning, I would give it 4/5 stars.

I've always liked Yoshinoya and have tried their outlets in both Japan and Singapore. So, it's good to have an outlet here in Tampines.

"The food was good, but the experience was ruined by the rude cleaner. They were watching us while we were finishing our food and kept staring at us, gesturing for us to leave, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded and it wasn't close to closing time. We both ordered the student meals with drinks included, and when we decided to pour one of our green tea packets into a cup of ice, the cleaner told us there were no outside food or drinks allowed. It was just a packet of green tea, and we had spent $19 on food. We both had drinks as part of our meals, but we didn't like the green tea that was available. I would have understood the rude and disrespectful behavior if we had come in with our own food and drinks without buying anything, but we didn't. This will be my first and last visit. I even liked the food, but sadly, the staff ruined it for us. 1/10 service."

The location is good; it's on B1 and quite easy to find. There's ample seating available. They also have a kids' meal, which is really good. The price was reasonable.
