Review in 2024: I don't know what's wrong with Ah Khoo; their standards have dropped so much, and I will not visit again. Review in 2022: The coffee was just so-so, but you can try their tau sar pia, beef stew with rice, and laksa.

"Ting" "Ting" "Ting" "Ting" "Ting" "Ting" "Ting" "Ting" This constant ringing of the counter bell, every 30 seconds or minute, is painfully annoying for dining customers. The counter staff was aggressively tapping the bell the moment a food item was ready, even before anyone could react to the LED notification (with audio alert). Why install the food queue alert LED screen system in the first place, when you keep tapping the bell to get people to collect their food? The noise is too disruptive for everyone. Food-wise, they have a unique variety of toast, like pork floss with condensed milk, and also tuna. The taste of the teh is average, similar to Fun Toast but not comparable to YK."

"Perfect half-boiled eggs; the tea and coffee were standard. The kaya toast was disappointing. The butter was completely melted in a puddle at the bottom of the plate, making it a mess to eat, and they didnโt provide napkins. And they tried to rush us out even before we had finished our drinks! I understand that it was crowded and seating was limited, but we werenโt done yet! Wonโt be going back."

The food is tasty, and the staff are very friendly. Prices are a bit above market prices for similar items, but that's understandable given the air-conditioned setting. The only reason it didn't get five stars from me is the cleanliness of the utensils.

The place is supposed to close at 9pm. That's what was listed, and what the staff confirmed. Yet, at 8:10pm, they said the last order time was 8pm. So, are you saying you need a whole hour to clean up? Or that for a full hour, you don't accept any new customers? Is this endorsed by management? Please get back to me before I bring this up to CASE and the Tampines Hub management.

Affordable HALAL option that we definitely love. Old Chang Kee has really upgraded themselves and made us fall in love again. Yes, this Coffee House is by Old Chang Kee (OCK) and it is located just at the entrance of Our Tampines Hub. To be precise, it is at the East Entrance, beside Crave. There are basically two ordering points at this location. One is the external facade where you buy the takeaway food, similar to those standard OCK stands. The other ordering point is actually inside the store itself. We avoided sitting inside due to the current situation, thus we ordered takeaways. We ordered the Chicken Rice Balls and the Blue Pea Nasi Lemak thingy. Let's talk about the food first. The menu is rather long and there is a variety of food to choose from, which left us spoilt for choice ๐ ๐ . We'd rate the taste of the food we ordered an 8 out of 10. This is actually not a bad score. But, each to their own, right? ๐๐ The price for the food is still acceptable, and looking at the quantity we had, it is worth it. The portion isn't very, very generous, but it is slightly more than other places. Okay, in terms of location, we would say that this is definitely the best place out of many locations we've been to. Those working around the area can just grab food through the external point and leave within 5 minutes โ it is that convenient. Well, do check it out and judge for yourself. For us, we really are glad that OCK is located in OTH ๐๐ Cheers!

Update: Tried their breakfast sets and they were unfortunately a waste of calories. Ya Kun has better kaya toast, and the prata looked like one of those frozen packs from FairPrice. We were also surprised that the set only included one prata, instead of what was advertised in the pictures. We ordered the $11.90 curry chicken with bread, and it was sooooo good! The bread was served warm, soft, and slightly sweet, which paired very well with the thick and savory curry chicken. They even gave us another bowl of curry for dipping. The portion was just right for two people, or three if you order other dishes. The drinks, however, were a little lackluster. The kopi c and yuan yang weren't very strong and were kind of sweet, even though we ordered less sugar.

"The laksa was served lukewarm, so it wasn't as satisfying as it would have been hot. However, the ingredients were generous. The Curry Chicken Nasi Lemak tasted good. Drinks are served in very large containers. The service was good and friendly. I will return to try it again when I'm passing by."

"This was my first time trying the food. I ordered the blue pea nasi lemak with dry curry, curry with bun, and prata with egg and onion. The serving portion is small, with only one small potato, a spoonful of peanuts, and some ikan bilis. There was a lot of curry gravy, but only two or three small pieces of chicken. The price isn't worth it. Food: 6/10 Ambience: 6/10 Service: -/10 (Order was placed via phone, and it's self-service)"
