"Zero customer service. Indeed, you pay peanuts, you get peanut service. You're better off patronizing other outlets. Avoid this outlet at all costs."

I often visit this place to buy chocolate and sweets because it's cheaper than the supermarket. The KitKat bars and other chocolates are so cheap! They also sell household items such as soap, toothpaste, and wipers at a reasonable price. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews, as it's a "value" store and the staff are trying their best to earn a living and help out. Just buy, queue, and leave. Try to avoid peak hours, as there's usually a long queue on weekends and after work hours.

I believe there is no issue with the note. You have the cheek to reject legal tender. Luckily, I had another note. The cashier was stupid; they ignored me when I said it was still legal.

"Happy to have found Values nearby my new place. But this location is different; the staff are more friendly than average. Many thanks to the kind and patient manager, who impressed me with her assistance even though she was really busy."

"The place is nice and has many varieties, but this Malay staff member with the tudung was so incredibly rude. She just chucked all the items into the bag, even the fragile ones. When she was politely asked, "Miss, can you please place the items properly into the bag?" her attitude didn't change. Dear Management of Value Dollar, please train your staff better. I don't think a person like her should even be working there."

I just bought something from this stall. When paying the $5.45, I gave the cashier (a guy) $10.50. He correctly gave me $5.05 in change. However, when he went to hand me the money, after I showed him my hand, he put the receipt down first, then the money. The problem was that near the cashier, there was a fan installed. Unfortunately, the fan blew the money and receipt off my hand, and they fell on the floor. I was only able to retrieve the 5 cents and the receipt, but I couldn't find the $5. When I told the cashier, he only said that he had already given me the money and didn't help me find the $5.

"Not everything here is cheap; their 5kg cooking oil is still expensive. If you want to buy cheaper items, it's better to go to their ABC shop in Bedok Central, as they have more choices."

It's freaking satisfying! Made-to-order hot dog sub. Pardon the photo of the half-finished sub :P Hot bun, fresh vegetables, good sauce. You can tell they've taken great care with their ingredients to give us a good experience! I got the fiery chic bolognese. It has a solid kick. $8.50, a la carte, for just the bun. Go get it.

Shared 4 subs, 2 sides, and 4 drinks. My personal favorite is still my choice of sassy spicy mango salsa and sparkling gold citron. Overall, it's a good variety and still a novelty in this neighborhood. It may need some promotional gimmicks to sustain itself, given the slight premium on hotdog prices.
