My daughter is a student at OTH's The Ballet School with Teacher Jaena. Teacher Jaena is always very well-prepared for every lesson. My daughter started ballet at 3 years old with her, and it has been 8 years now. We can see that she is very loving and patient towards the little ones, and strict and firm with the older ones. With her guidance throughout the years, my daughter has been doing well in her RAD exams and has always been looking forward to every lesson. The admin is very informative and accommodating. The school has good programs for the kids. It's just a pity that it doesn't run elite classes at this outlet.

I think this is the best ballet school for kids in Tampines. The teachers are a little bit strict, but they have very good teaching skills. Actually, the teachers are always encouraging the kids. The studio is very clean and tidy. 🩰🩰🩰

My daughter (now in Grade 5) has been with The Ballet School @ OTH since preschool (7 years ago) and still looks forward to each ballet lesson! The lessons have helped to build her self-confidence, agility, and endurance, not only in ballet but also in other physical sports. The instructors are dedicated and have been a source of motivation for students to reach their full potential. The administrative staff, such as Ms. Iris, is friendly and responsive to parents’ requests and queries. I hope they can open more outlets in the near future, perhaps in central, northeast, or prime areas like shopping malls!

The teachers are cold, and my child came out of the class in the middle. If the class is meant for something else, I'm not sure why the trial class was arranged. I feel sorry for my child, as she was very excited for her first trial class.

My daughter has been attending The Ballet School (TBS) since she was 3 years old, starting from the childcare center. After that, we continued her ballet journey at Our Tampines Hub (OTH). She has also been in the elite program at TBS @ OTH. I must say the teachers at TBS are very dedicated and passionate about teaching the girls, and the girls are progressing well. Girls who are not in the competition/elite team also get the chance to have public performances. The admin team is also very prompt in responding to any queries. I would strongly recommend parents send their daughters to TBS. The only setback is that at OTH, there is a lack of studio space, resulting in the competition team having to travel to other TBS branches across Singapore for their practices.

My daughter started her ballet journey at TBS when she was 5 years old. She enjoys going to her ballet classes. The teachers are very professional and pay detailed attention to every student. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude, especially to Ms. Jaena and Ms. Charlotte, for your guidance, encouragement, and, most importantly, for having faith in my daughter. The admin staff, especially Ms. Iris, is friendly and supportive. Parents are well informed about the class schedules, fees, etc. TBS provides a lot of opportunities for students to participate in performances, competitions, and examinations, which are important for the students to gain experience and exposure. Highly recommended!

My earlier review was removed. Before signing up for the trial, I informed the teacher that my daughter had no prior experience and asked if she was okay to join. They said yes. During only the second lesson, the teacher commented that if she still wasn't able to tip her toe, it was "the end of the journey" for her. My daughter came out of the class so dejected. It was supposed to be a learning experience for her; I guess I made a big mistake by signing her up with TBS. Send your kid here if you want them to feel demoralized.

"Zero customer service. Indeed, you pay peanuts, you get peanut service. You're better off patronizing other outlets. Avoid this outlet at all costs."

I just bought something from this stall. When paying the $5.45, I gave the cashier (a guy) $10.50. He correctly gave me $5.05 in change. However, when he went to hand me the money, after I showed him my hand, he put the receipt down first, then the money. The problem was that near the cashier, there was a fan installed. Unfortunately, the fan blew the money and receipt off my hand, and they fell on the floor. I was only able to retrieve the 5 cents and the receipt, but I couldn't find the $5. When I told the cashier, he only said that he had already given me the money and didn't help me find the $5.

"Not everything here is cheap; their 5kg cooking oil is still expensive. If you want to buy cheaper items, it's better to go to their ABC shop in Bedok Central, as they have more choices."
