THONG HENG ONG
Just Greens Vegetarian is a stall at Tampines Hub Hawker Centre. I was surprised that a plate of economic vermicelli with simple vegetables cost $5 in the East. The hawker told the customer to use a CDC voucher at the payment counter. In the West, most hawkers' vegetarian food, like a plate of economic vermicelli with simple vegetarian vegetables, costs less than $5.

"Tried this place twice. The first time, the food was okay, but the price was higher than displayed. They gave a lame excuse about mushrooms being a 'meat' or something similar, so today I ordered only green vegetables to see if this was true. Same BS. It's not that expensive, but it sours the experience when, at best, the pricing isn't transparent..."

The food is very oily, too oily for elderly people who share my concerns. The fried kway teow, noodles, and mee hoon are the oiliest!

"Ordered a couple of boxes for lunch at Tampines Hub. The food was extremely expensive at $5 per person, and we couldn't use our card either. The fake meat wasn't great; it was too hard. The vegetables and the rest of the meal were alright, but the food is honestly not worth the price."

"It was easy to book an appointment on the HDB website and come to this centre, which is preferable to Toa Payoh. This place is very spacious (even the elderly come in and sit down to escape the hot weather!). It wasn't crowded on a Friday late afternoon. I settled my transaction with a friendly HDB staff member within 25 minutes."

Terrible, terrible, terrible for office hour workers seeking walk-in assistance when all branches are closed on Saturday. I tried using e-services but was asked to go to a branch.
