Booked an appointment online, but upon arrival, the service center counter staff informed us they were out for lunch. The staff simply told us to place the form in the pigeon hole. In the end, we forwent the appointment.
"They don't accept walk-ins, even if staff have the capacity to serve walk-in customers. This alienates less tech-savvy generations. What happened to being an inclusive nation?"
"It was easy to book an appointment on the HDB website and come to this centre, which is preferable to Toa Payoh. This place is very spacious (even the elderly come in and sit down to escape the hot weather!).
It wasn't crowded on a Friday late afternoon. I settled my transaction with a friendly HDB staff member within 25 minutes."

I really love their Thailand fresh coconut series and return to buy them even when I'm not staying in the area.
HOWEVER, the service needs improvement. Every time I've been there, I've been served by different people and have encountered rude behavior.
Apparently, they didn't like being asked questions about the juices and were impatient (I only asked two questions). Not a single "thanks" or "thank you" was uttered. I can't help but wonder if staff welfare is lacking, or if something else is wrong.
"I ordered a juice that consisted of 3 fruits. These 3 fruits were part of a 4-fruit selection, so the staff suggested I get that instead. I expected the staff would replace the portion of the 4th fruit, which I didn't order, with more of one of the fruits I *had* ordered, since I paid for 4 portions. In the end, I was charged for 4 portions of fruit but only received 3, which was evident in the juice level in the cup. Very disappointed!"
"Very small cup size, and the juice is very dilute, yet they charge a very high price. It certainly seems like they added a lot of water. The waiting time is long, too."
This is the first time I'm giving a one-star review after so many years. I always buy from the Paya Lebar outlet; the service is good, and the juice is nice. I recently bought 10 cups of juice and tried to redeem them at the Tampines Hub outlet. The auntie at the counter was super rude and gave me a weird look when I wanted to redeem my drink. After that, she told me they could only deduct $3.
