"A young, Chinese male staff member was seated and engrossed with his phone, with an earpiece in his ear. I stood in front of him, and it took him a while to notice me. I verbally ordered two pieces of youtiao and pointed at the product. He didn’t seem to have heard me and only packed one. When I told him I wanted two, and gestured with two fingers, he frowned and glared at me as though I had inconvenienced him. Throughout the whole exchange, he was silent and didn’t remove his earpiece. My purchase experience was very disappointing because of this service. I hope the management can look into this and improve the service standards."

"I bought a red bean humji Peng on the morning of October 28, 2021, and was very disappointed. The center of the dough was uncooked, which could potentially lead to foodborne illness. It seems I'm unable to upload pictures of the uncooked dough. I will provide the management with photos if they wish to see them."

The food was good and delicious, and I loved the youtiao.

"A great option for vegetarians, especially if the vegetarian stall at the food court is closed on Sunday. The staff is friendly and polite; please be patient as there is usually only one staff member working. Food-wise, there are great varieties, as well as new items being introduced."

I found the food delicious. They sell Chinese vegetarian fries. The curry puff was really crispy and tasty. The staff was courteous and greeted me with a smile. They helped me by explaining the contents, as I was initially skeptical. My kids liked the youtiao; they are really choosy about food.

I remember Hollywood Goreng Pisang at Bedok Interchange; the taste was rather similar. Although things change, the fried banana was delightfully tasty. Other items like you tiao and butterfly buns are equally tasty. They even have set packages for items that go well with coffee or tea. And yes, please take note that it is totally vegetarian. We saw the items, the oil, and such, and yes, it's cleared 🤭🤭. It's slightly cheaper by a few cents, but hey, a few cents saved goes a long way in the end. Speaking of cents, the prices are also quite affordable. Some places are charging so much for their products that it makes us think twice before buying. And in terms of taste, well, you got it: it's not the best, but one of the way better ones. Do note that for service, you've got to be a bit more calm and approach them with a positive attitude. Looking at how things go, the guy seems to be stuck there almost all the time and rests for only one day. So most likely he looks sour, and maybe because of that, he looked as he did. We shall not judge, as everyone has their own challenges. So yeah, let's all keep ourselves light-hearted, okay? Be calm and keep smiling 😊😊.
