Rating: 2 / 5 stars 🤩 : - 🤧 : Underwhelming flavors The name of the stall intrigued me, and I couldn’t help but draw associations to the likes of Tian Tian and Ah Tai. Perhaps that was a trap, because the chicken rice was nothing like what you might get at Maxwell. The rice was on the drier side for chicken rice I’ve had; you could perhaps argue it’s a healthier version of the dish. The chicken skin had an odd texture, as though it was left out to dry for an extended period, or perhaps hung too close to the heating lamps. The meat was tender; then again, I was served parts that were close to the bone. The soy dressing was unbalanced—too heavy on the soy sauce, leaving a distinct salty taste in every bite. The chili is probably the component I find most important, and this stall’s chili felt too salty and tangy. I wish it tasted as good as it looked. Overall, a letdown. At $4, I would expect better.

The food is decently priced and offers a unique alternative to the usual noodle stalls in hawker centers. I've tried both the ramen and paofan options and enjoyed them. For the pork paofan, the soup has a nice seafood flavor, but it isn't very thick, so the flavor is slightly muted. However, the ingredients are decent for the price. I also tried the dumpling tonkotsu ramen and found the broth to be a little diluted. The ramen was cooked well, and the dumplings were big, but the flavor was just average. Overall, I prefer the paofan options! The takeaway containers and packaging were good; the noodles and rice/other toppings were separated from the hot soup. Overall, it's a good option for a meal if you want something different. I look forward to trying their other dishes as well!

A curious take on ramen that blends hawker flavors with the Japanese format. The noodles and fish are the highlights, while the broth and toppings are a mixed bag. It's not tonkotsu as we know it, but it has a quirky charm. You won’t crave it again, but you won’t regret trying it once. Read the full review on my blog.

"Nice, hearty bowl of noodles. I had the beef brisket soup with prawn broth, and the beef was quite tender. They gave a pretty good amount for the price. However, the broth could have had more prawn flavor, as it tasted a bit mild to me. It came with a few slices of cabbage and shredded egg for extra crunch. Overall, quite enjoyable!"

"Rice soaked in a rich and thick prawn/lobster soup base. I chose the scallop version, and the bowl had a good quantity of wongbok, so there was always some in each spoonful. The added crispy rice and egg floss gave it another layer of texture. The only pity is that, due to inflation, the number of scallops and clams seemed much less than in previous visits."

We ordered the prawn and fish paste balls with rice in prawn broth and 酸菜鱼 ramen with prawn soup base. The fish paste balls had a slight fishy taste. The soup base was surprisingly good. Will come again to try other dishes.

"Pathetic is an understatement. I've never had Indian food this bad. Giving it one star is too generous."

Delicious vegetarian food! As we don't eat onion, garlic, or eggs, the owner was very kind to custom-make a curry potato chapati for us! It was very nice of her! Thank you!

Insect found in channa dhall. The person at the counter initially denied it, calling it a black leaf. I had to call the owner over and show them the insect. They replaced the food and refunded the money. The quality and taste of the food need to be improved.
