"The attitude of the staff was very poor. They were rude and argumentative. The food portion was also very small for $4. When I paid slightly late using a CDC voucher, even though there was no one else queuing, the staff member shook their head at us as if we were stupid or poor. I will never come back again."

"I ordered a plain waffle, and the service was good. The waiting time was a bit long since there were other orders ahead of mine, but considering there was only one person making the waffles, I was alright with the wait. The waffle tasted alright, nothing special. It was soft and not very thick. Also, it wasn't made with pandan, so it wasn't very fragrant. But for the price, it's acceptable. 💬"

Chanced upon this store and bought some bread at their promotional rate: 5 for $5.50. I love the coffee bun; it has a nice filling of melted butter. The chocolate chip bun is also nice, with a good chocolate filling flavor.

Eat at your own risk. I ordered the Chicken Curry Noodle and found a metal sponge scrap in my bowl. When I confronted the stall owner, she blamed her supplier and continued to operate the business. She did offer to remake the noodle and give me a refund, but I wouldn’t dare to dine here again.

Perhaps that was a trap, because the chicken rice was nothing like what you might get at Maxwell. The rice was on the drier side for chicken rice I’ve had; you could perhaps argue it’s a healthier version of the dish. The chicken skin had an odd texture, as though it was left out to dry for an extended period, or perhaps hung too close to the heating lamps. The meat was tender; then again, I was served parts that were close to the bone. The soy dressing was unbalanced—too heavy on the soy sauce, leaving a distinct salty taste in every bite. The chili is probably the component I find most important, and this stall’s chili felt too salty and tangy. I wish it tasted as good as it looked. Overall, a letdown. At $4, I would expect better.
