"Ordered takeaway Penang Laksa. It wasn't very flavorful, and the noodles were quite hard, suggesting it wasn't fresh. There were only a few strands of sardines and vegetables, and nothing else."

We ordered Penang prawn mee, and it came in a pretty big bowl. Nice. The prawn seemed to have come from char kway teow, not boiled, but tasted like char prawn, as you could see. The fried pork tasted nice and tender, with a balanced taste.

Service 5/5, food 3/5, atmosphere is suitable if you're looking for a quick meal. The seats are stools and have no backrests. I tried the Assam laksa because I've been missing it, but the taste was a huge miss for me. On top of that, there wasn't much *liao* (the fish was dismal). The *hor fun* my friend had was much better. That said, the service was lovely! I really liked the uncles serving us.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Penang Prawn Noodle Soup. It tasted wonderful, full of umami and prawn soup flavor. Though I don't usually like chili, the spiciness was great. It paired well with the Honey Lemon drink. I will come back again for the noodles, and to try other dishes!

Penang Savour is a stall located at Tampines Hub. It specializes in Penang Fried Kway Teow, a dish made of fried flat noodles, Chinese sausage, and bean sprouts. The dish is known for its dry, crunchy texture and good wok hei. The stall also serves Penang Assam Laksa, a flavorful soup with plenty of greens and onion slices. The laksa features thick, chewy udon-style noodles, and the fish slices are of good quality. Although seating is limited, the overall meal experience is satisfactory.

"I used to enjoy the food here, but the quality has declined significantly. I ordered the Penang Laksa, and as you can see from the photo, the soup was extremely diluted. It was just sour and lacked any real flavor. The experience was further marred by a tense atmosphere; staff members were shouting at each other, even with customers present. Additionally, the cashier's attitude made us feel like we were a burden. Overall, a very disappointing visit."

"During my recent visit, I had an experience that left a negative impression. The younger staff were noticeably unfriendly. When I politely requested some chili padi, the response I received was unexpectedly rude. Instead of offering assistance or guidance, the staff member seemed dismissive, which made the experience quite uncomfortable."

Ordered their food through their shop, and the management was terrible. How could they allow customers to cut in line in the first place? I could see that their orders were super messed up. Someone who ordered after me was getting their food before me. If the waiting time had been short, I could have been more considerate, but that wasn't the case. The waiting time was very long, and all I saw was one worker cooking all the orders, while two other workers were standing behind, watching (even though they had three woks ready to use).

I could have given this a 5-star rating, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Wok Hey outlet, and it was my first time buying food from the Tampines Hub branch. Although the shop was already open when I arrived, I came just 5–10 minutes early. However, the staff member (makcik) told me to come back at 10:30 AM. She could have simply taken my order then. When I came back at 10:30 AM and waited, she said I had to wait. I noticed she was on the phone and the cook (abang) was doing prep work. While I understand he was occupied, they should always serve customers first. Customers shouldn’t have to wait unnecessarily just to place an order, especially when they’re hungry. Additionally, when the staff member (Makcik) asked if I wanted chili, I said no. However, it seems she didn’t inform the cook, and the dish still ended up spicy. Just because I’m Malay doesn’t mean I automatically like spicy food; preferences vary from person to person. Not everyone likes spicy food. I work part-time in the F&B industry myself, so I understand a bit about how things operate. However, they should always serve customers first before handling other tasks.

"Tried their Truffle Fried Rice MAX and Truffle Udon MAX. I loved that they included smoked turkey ham, cranberries, and macadamia nuts. A very good combination! I ordered online, and collection was swift."
