Love the food and the nice owners. I always get their basic set with lontong gravy on the fragrant pandan rice. It's $3.60 after the kopitiam discount. Support local businesses!

"I randomly decided to eat at this stall after seeing its good Google reviews. I had the beef rendang set, which allows you to choose a vegetable in addition to the egg and beef rendang. I chose the sayur lodeh, which included a piece of tahu. The price was $6.50, but I got a 10% discount by using the Fairprice app. First, the beef rendang was very flavorful, and the beef was tender enough. The sayur lodeh was very tasty and nice, and the vegetables were cooked to a perfect texture. The fried egg omelette was thick and yummy. The chili was a killer – super spicy! Service was very good, provided by the older aunty. I will definitely eat here again."

Consistently tasty and very affordable, their sayur (vegetables) are great. I love their chicken rendang set; the rempah pairs well with the rice. I could eat it every other day if it weren't for health reasons. The owners are friendly. Note: Nasi lemak usually runs out by dinner.

EXTREMELY RUDE HAWKER!!! I've been using CDC vouchers more often now that they're expiring soon, and I've been to many shops and hawkers. No one said anything or had any preference regarding CDC payments until I came here. This elderly man, who was at the back, was extremely rude when I asked a simple question. When I told him I would like to pay with a CDC voucher and the balance with coins, he said I should pay in full with cash or CDC. When I asked why, he replied extremely rudely, saying that's how he wants it and if I don't like it, I can go to another shop.

I tried a plate of HKM first; it was pretty delicious. Then, I ordered a plate of fried carrot cake to try. Although the food portion is small, the flavor of the HKM is tasty, and I needed another small portion of fried carrot cake to satisfy my cravings. It's worth trying if they maintain the same food quality and consistency.
