One of the most underrated places. Please do visit this stall for their very beautiful rajma chawal and Mughlai chicken. You will be mesmerized by their taste (especially for the price). We also love their parathas, kadhi pakoda, and okra gravy. A must-visit if you're in Our Tampines Hub.
This is one of the places my boyfriend and I often visit for lunch or dinner. The food is truly delicious, and I highly recommend their Pork Belly Rice Bowl and Dry Ramen! The prices are reasonable, and the owner is very friendly and easy to talk to. The newly added Unagi Egg Rice Bowl also perfectly suits my taste! Most importantly, the food quality is consistently excellent every time we visit. We'll definitely keep coming back. Thank you for serving such great food in Tampines!
Went there three times within a month, but I was quite disappointed with the last two visits.
I ordered a few bowls of spicy Ramen. The second and third times, there weren’t any of the small fried silver fish added.
Both times it was a bit salty, and the two slices of grilled pork belly or loin meat were tough to chew and swallow. The soup base also tasted funny.
The last two times, they didn’t include the fried silver fish, even though the pictures on the display showed them.
Overall, the preparation was inconsistent. Food standards have dropped almost 40%.
"I love the ramen with its grilled char siew, chewy minced pork, fresh spring onions, pickled vegetables, fried shallots, black fungus, and seaweed. The portion of ingredients and noodles is well-balanced. It's also topped with a runny onsen egg, which makes everything so perfect."
"The pork loin bowl had a pretty generous portion and was affordable. However, the miso soup tasted very strange. I saw other comments mentioning this as well."
"Ordered the dry ramen and we really enjoyed it! It came with different ingredients that mixed really well, and mixing in the onsen egg added creaminess to the noodles. The pork belly was grilled nicely and was still very tender. The miso soup was quite standard, but the dry ramen is really worth the price.
On another occasion, I tried the pork loin rice bowl, and it was quite enjoyable, although I felt that the dry ramen was still my favorite. The pork loin was grilled nicely without being too tough to chew and was well-seasoned with a bit of sweet sauce. I had the large size and was definitely full afterward.
Food took a while to prepare, as they cooked upon order, but it was worth it!"
I always come here to eat, and the staff are very friendly. They even remember my usual requests. They always prepare the chili I ask for when I take away food for my family, and the soup here always maintains a good standard that I like.
I got the mala dried noodles and found them too salty for my liking. Also, the fishcake had a slightly strong fishy taste when it wasn't fried.
But 5 stars for the service because the staff offered to change my order to a broth soup that was much less salty, after offering me a bowl of soup which helped a little, but was still too salty. The staff also explained that the mala sauce is salty by nature, so it couldn't be helped, and I understand.
I am very grateful for the staff's offer to change it to the broth soup base. This level of customer service is very commendable. It made the entire experience enjoyable, and I won't mind coming back here for lunch.
The food here is very nice. The service is also very good, especially Stephanie. I always come here to look for her. She always gives a warm welcome. I will come back again.
"First time trying GYMLT, I had the tomato soup and pork bone soup. I preferred the tomato soup over the pork bone.
The shop is rather big with many seats available. However, the air conditioning was a bit weak; I started sweating halfway through eating."
