When placing my order, the lady didn't mention the long wait. After waiting for 30 minutes, I asked if I could cancel the order and get my money back. The lady started yelling at me. If they want to combine orders and cook everything at once, that's fine. But please don't wait for another identical order and then start cooking both dishes together. Anyway, I can find better Thai food with better service and a shorter waiting time elsewhere. No next time for me.
Always a fan of Lor Mee. It's getting more difficult to find a decent bowl of Lor Mee with a reasonable price and substantial ingredients to justify the cost.
This humble stall has no newspaper advertisements to promote its fame. However, with the few options available, it's enough to satisfy Lor Mee lovers' cravings.
OTH Hawker Centre offers many food choices. This is the stall that I will always patronize. Not to mention that they provide a free flow of garlic, chili, and vinegar for your own liking.
"This isn't the same Jue Shi since it changed hands. The original owner retired last year, and the quality has dropped significantly. They used to give braised pork slices, but now it's tough pork shreds, and the seasoning is lacking. Also, they sometimes get orders wrong."

Overall: 4/5
Donkey and I were craving a comforting lunch, so we headed over to Tampines Hub's hawker centre. We originally planned to have porridge, but when we saw Jue Shi Lor Mee, Donkey's mind was instantly changed. It just looked so tempting! I, always up for trying new things, decided to try the chicken rice stall right next door, while Donkey was ready for a warm bowl of Lor Mee. The stall was run by two friendly Vietnamese ladies, and they offered a variety of Lor Mee options. Donkey went for their signature Lor Mee and decided to add their fried yam roll.
What Donkey really loved about Jue Shi Lor Mee was the minced garlic. It was so finely minced, and it's free-flow, so you can add as much as you like. The same goes for their chilli padi, perfect for adding a little heat to your bowl. The vinegar was a bit of a surprise, though. He added three full soup spoons, and it still didn't have as strong a vinegar taste as he likes. But, even though he would have preferred a bit more vinegar punch, overall, the Lor Mee was really good. He could tell why it had so many positive reviews on Google. If you're craving Lor Mee at Tampines Hub, Jue Shi Lor Mee is definitely worth checking out.

Jue Shi Lor Mee is a must-try for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic bowl of lor mee, particularly their traditional fish meat set.
This Hokkien dish features hand-torn fish meat alongside braised pork, creating a delightful combination of textures and flavors. The lor mee is served with a thick, savory gravy that perfectly coats the noodles, making each bite rich and fulfilling.
The broth is milder than some might expect but is still deeply comforting. It strikes a balance that allows the flavors of the fish and braised pork to shine through without being overwhelming.
This makes it an excellent choice for those who prefer a subtler taste while still enjoying a hearty meal. The addition of a braised egg enhances the dish, providing an extra layer of flavor that complements the other ingredients beautifully.
Highly recommended!
The billboard shows the non-veg thali at $6.5, but after I finished eating, I was charged $9.5. The explanation was that they were out of chicken, so they gave me mutton instead. The price list didn't mention anywhere that mutton was extra; it simply said "non-veg thali at $6.5."
Simply a cheater.
Food is good at this place for anyone who prefers Punjabi flavors.
Raja and Khadoor are perfect, with a taste like back home.
Food is fresh and served warmly.
The dessert, gulab jamun, is also good.
It's a little expensive, but worth it, as getting such good food in that area is worth the value.
The chapati are fresh, and the rice is also good quality and just enough quantity.
It's not spicy, it's just nice – even kids can try it. The meal includes pickle as well.
It’s inside Kopitiam on level 1, at the end.
You must try all the stuff; paratha are freshly made based on our order.
Very friendly, a must-try, recommended.
"The Paratha Set is excellent, offering two parathas of your choice along with two side dishes. Options include things like Rajma, paneer, saag, and dal makhani.
I often enjoy it for dinner at the food court."
One of the most underrated places. Please do visit this stall for their very beautiful rajma chawal and Mughlai chicken. You will be mesmerized by their taste (especially for the price). We also love their parathas, kadhi pakoda, and okra gravy. A must-visit if you're in Our Tampines Hub.
