"This isn't the same Jue Shi since it changed hands. The original owner retired last year, and the quality has dropped significantly. They used to give braised pork slices, but now it's tough pork shreds, and the seasoning is lacking. Also, they sometimes get orders wrong."

Kitty and I were craving a comforting lunch, so we headed over to Tampines Hub's hawker centre. We originally planned to have porridge, but when we saw Jue Shi Lor Mee, my mind instantly changed. It just looked so tempting. Kitty, always up for trying new things, decided to try the chicken rice stall right next door, while I was ready for a warm bowl of Lor Mee. The stall was run by two friendly Vietnamese ladies, and they offered a variety of Lor Mee options. I went for their signature Lor Mee and decided to add their fried yam roll.
What I really loved about Jue Shi Lor Mee was the minced garlic. It was so finely minced, and it's free-flow, so you can add as much as you like. The same goes for their chilli padi, perfect for adding a little heat to your bowl. The vinegar was a bit of a surprise, though. I added three full soup spoons, and it still didn't have as strong a vinegar taste as I like. But, even though I would have preferred a bit more vinegar punch, overall the Lor Mee was really good. I could tell why it had so many positive reviews on Google. If you're craving Lor Mee at Tampines Hub, Jue Shi Lor Mee is definitely worth checking out.
I'm giving Jue Shi Lor Mee a 4-star rating because it's a solid choice for Lor Mee lovers. The flavor was good, the portion was generous, and I appreciated the free-flow garlic and chilli padi. While the vinegar wasn't as strong as I would have liked, the overall experience was positive.

Always a fan of Lor Mee. It's getting more difficult to find a decent bowl of Lor Mee with a reasonable price and substantial ingredients to justify the cost.
This humble stall has no newspaper advertisements to promote its fame. However, with the few options available, it's enough to satisfy Lor Mee lovers' cravings.
OTH Hawker Centre offers many food choices. This is the stall that I will always patronize. Not to mention that they provide a free flow of garlic, chili, and vinegar for your own liking.

Jue Shi Lor Mee is a must-try for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic bowl of lor mee, particularly their traditional fish meat set.
This Hokkien dish features hand-torn fish meat alongside braised pork, creating a delightful combination of textures and flavors. The lor mee is served with a thick, savory gravy that perfectly coats the noodles, making each bite rich and fulfilling.
The broth is milder than some might expect but is still deeply comforting. It strikes a balance that allows the flavors of the fish and braised pork to shine through without being overwhelming.
This makes it an excellent choice for those who prefer a subtler taste while still enjoying a hearty meal. The addition of a braised egg enhances the dish, providing an extra layer of flavor that complements the other ingredients beautifully.
Highly recommended!
