"Had a bad experience at this Nene Chicken store.
The burger was really not good. The tteokbokki was too sweet and salty. Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes.
When ordering, the waitress was quite rude. I think she may not have had enough training to serve customers."
"After not having it for ten years, I was quite excited to try the yangnyeom (sweet and spicy) chicken again! Unfortunately, the sauce, which is a crucial element for Korean fried chicken, isn’t very tasty."
The service here is abysmal, an absolute joke. I've experienced it firsthand and watched the staff shamelessly treat other customers like garbage right in front of me. Their atrocious attitudes completely ruined any chance of enjoying the meal. Speaking of which, the food is just as terrible. The Egg and Cheese Ramyeon was bland, lifeless, and a disgrace to anything resembling Korean cuisine. The chicken was raw? Hello, wake up! The quality is laughable. Whoever was working at 12 pm on January 10th, 2025, should be fired or retrained because their 'customer service' is nothing short of pathetic. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being disrespected and eating tasteless slop.
The chicken was super crispy and juicy. I got the 2-piece chicken meal and selected the soy flavor. It was slightly spicy for me, even though I chose the soy one. The fries and corn salad were great. The restaurant is a bit small, so be sure to go earlier to get a seat.
"This is a very warm place to eat. The spotlight directly above you can really make you sweat. I didn't fully enjoy the delicious food due to the lighting in this otherwise cozy place. I would only recommend takeout. The chicken is tender and soft on the inside."
"It's a small place with tables arranged too closely together. Being near the mall exit, the door kept opening and closing, so you couldn't feel the air conditioning at all. The place got quite warm during the meal, especially with the portable stoves used to heat up the food. Overall, an unpleasant dining experience. The fried chicken was pretty good, but that's about it. Chicken coated with the "swicy" sauce was a letdown, and the melted cheese was nothing special. This was my first visit, and I won't be back. There are better fried chicken options elsewhere."
I thought NeNe was quite a reputable Korean fried chicken brand, but this was just horrible. The chicken tenders were obviously frozen, which is fine, but how did they end up with so much skin and batter that there was minimal meat in each piece? It was so tough to bite into; it made my jaw sore! 🙄 (Ordered via Foodpanda)
The gym is good for people who want to exercise, build stamina, and so on. It doesn't have specialized Zumba classes, but the rates are affordable at $2.50 SGD per entry.
It's awesome, cooling, and spacious. However, the football fence/divider separating the two areas is pretty dangerous. A few days ago, the fence was broken, following the shape of a ball. And I mean, really broken. It needs to be repaired because it is hazardous and risky. I was sitting right under that fence area without knowing it until a ball came smashing into my back a few times. Also, if the ball ever makes it out of that broken hole in the fence, it's a danger.
