"I was totally disappointed with the torched wagyu beef cubes. The staff asked me about the doneness, but they only cooked it well done, even though I asked for medium-rare. To me, this didn't even seem like Wagyu at all. The onion rings were also a disappointment. The only food that was average was the crispy giant squid."
Ordered winglets with ranch, spicy sauce dumplings, and salted chicken rice.
Wings: 7.5/10
* Garlic Ranch: 2/10 (it's normal garlic ranch, though the servings are generous)
Salted Chicken Rice: 9/10 (really good)
Spicy Sauce Dumplings: 5/10... The dumpling itself is 8/10, but there's no spicy sauce included.
Kudos to the guy at the cashier for great customer service 👍 (shown in pic)
Do not eat at their Tampines Hub branch. I tried their prawn fried rice with my colleague for lunch. The service was good, and I thought it was not bad; it came with 4 prawns, and the fried rice was well cooked. One week later (today), I brought my wife to try it, and the order came with only 3 prawns.
When I asked, the staff told me it was because the prawns were bigger this week, hence only 3. There was no difference in the size of the prawns, though, as they were most likely the frozen/thawed kind.
The staff did not try to explain any further and just said it was management's decision to reduce the quantity to 3. Mind you, I just ate it a week ago! It's quite mind-boggling; if you can imagine, the next visit they could tell you there are only 2 prawns because they are "bigger" and management has reduced the quantity.
Overall, the service was good, but after this experience, maybe we won't patronize them again. What a pity!
"Do not dine at Tampines Hub. On March 16th, I went with my family. The prawn fried rice was amazingly the worst fried rice I've ever tasted. The rice was so soggy and tasted bad. My 4-year-old daughter had the carbonara, and halfway through, she kept saying she was full and her stomach hurt. After dinner, she felt nauseous. She couldn't sleep well the entire night and woke up at 5 am complaining of feeling unwell. At 8 am, she vomited a lot. If she's still unwell, I will bring her to a doctor to get certified if it is food poisoning, and if it is, I will pursue this with the authorities. Anyway, I have blacklisted this restaurant! Those who still want to gamble their luck, by all means, waste your money and time!"
I am beyond impressed with the impact that Tr Mango and Tree Art have had on my son’s artistic development. Tr Mango is a wonderful teacher who not only has incredible knowledge and skill but also creates an environment where creativity and self-expression are truly valued. My son has gained so much confidence in his abilities and has developed a deeper love for art, all thanks to Tr Mango’s inspiring approach.
The school itself is warm, welcoming, and supportive, with a great atmosphere for learning. The staff is friendly and dedicated, making it clear that they care deeply about the students’ growth, both artistically and personally. I am so grateful for the nurturing environment that has allowed my son to flourish. I highly recommend Tree Art to any family looking for a place where young artists can thrive.
"The teachers are passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping students develop their skills. The facilities are top-notch, offering diverse mediums and tools. My daughter loves coming to class, and I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to explore and excel in art!"
"Teachers Star and Jade are very good teachers. They are patient in teaching the correct techniques and allow my kid to be creative in art. This helps to build up my kid's interest and inspiration for the arts. This school is highly recommended for parents who want to expose their kids to drawing and handicrafts."
