Hawker Stall located in Hawker Centre @ Our Tampines Hub
P&J Western Food serves hearty Western cuisine at Our Tampines Hub Hawker Centre, offering generous portions of classic comfort food that has made it a local favorite. Located at stall #01-69, this Western food stall stands out for staying open later than most hawker stalls, providing a convenient dining option for those seeking satisfying meals throughout the day.
The menu features traditional hawker-style Western dishes with a uniquely Singaporean twist, influenced by Hainanese cooking traditions. Their signature offerings include the substantial Chicken Chop (0.60), crispy Fish & Chips (1.30), and tender Pork Cutlet (1.30). For heartier appetites, the Chicken + Fish + Pork Mixed Grill Set (1.30) provides an impressive combination of proteins.
P&J Western Food is particularly renowned for their chicken cutlet, which customers praise for its impressive size and thickness - a standout feature compared to many other coffeeshop Western stalls. The generous portions ensure diners leave satisfied, while the classic flavors remain consistently flavorful according to regular customers.
The stall also offers more budget-friendly options like the Chicken Stew with White Rice (.50), though this dish leans more toward local cai fan style rather than traditional Western presentation. Their signature gravy, reminiscent of KFC's mashed potato sauce, adds a familiar comfort element to many dishes.
Available for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery through WhyQ, P&J Western Food continues to serve the Tampines community with affordable Western cuisine that emphasizes generous portions and satisfying flavors, making it a reliable choice for both locals and visitors seeking hearty comfort food.

Ordered the Chicken Stew with White Rice ($3.50); the service was alright. The meal was ready quite fast. First impressions: the meal looks different from the picture on the menu. It's not really a chicken stew, but just a chicken wing covered in gravy. The chicken wing and rice were edible, and the egg and vegetables tasted fine. The only thing that saved the meal was the gravy, which tasted like KFC's mashed potato gravy. The meal didn't seem like a Western dish, but more like a *cai fan* meal. Overall, the meal was cheap, but it's neither filling nor particularly good.

Ordered a chicken chop with mushroom soup to go. First and last time ordering from here.
1) Watery mushroom soup.
2) The chicken chop had a weird, bitter taste. I think it's due to it not being very fresh, or perhaps poor seasoning.
3) The fries were the thick-cut type and quite decent – the only decent part of the meal.
4) Service was mixed. The person who took my order was nice and friendly, but the person who cooked (or at least handed me) the order was rude. They said, "Did the beeper not beep?" in a challenging tone, because I was queuing to buy other food and took some time to pick up my order. Again, first and last time. Never again.

The chicken cutlet is crispy and juicy, but the lack of flavor or seasoning makes this Western place one to avoid for their fried items. The fries are also undersalted and taste bland.
It doesn't help that the chicken makes up only about 50% of the dish, with the other 50% being batter – and that's me being generous.

P&J's Chicken Chop has a classic taste and is super flavorful. The prices have gone up a bit, but the quality hasn't changed.

This western food stall is located in the Kopitiam hawker center at Our Tampines Hub. It's one of the few food stalls here that opens until late, which is a bonus.
One of my favorite fried chicken cutlets is from this stall. Just look at the picture, and you can see how big the chicken cutlet is! Not only is the surface area of the meat large, but it's also thick, unlike those from many other coffeeshop western food stalls.
The meat is tasty and lean, and the fries are always freshly deep-fried, so they're always hot and crispy.
