"This was a waste of money.
The first time, the lady asked if I wanted chili. I asked if it could be separated, and she said it couldn't, so I just said, "No, thank you."
The second time, she asked me the same question, and I said no.
I ended up getting a laksa with no prawns and not many ingredients besides noodles and soup.
The lady was also very rude. π"

The $2.80 laksa tasted normal. When I asked for more chili, she said I couldn't have any without paying extra. So I said never mind. It's the first time I've encountered a laksa stall that charges extra for chili. And they still call themselves "Social Bites."
Positive Reviews

We got the signature laksa.
Food: It's not the Katong style, but it's still quite good. The noodles are okay, but the standout is the hum (cockles), which are big and juicy.
Service: Do note that you are expected to pay extra for any requests, including chili. Otherwise, it's typical hawker aunty service. Pay using the FairPrice app for a discount.
Atmosphere: Typical hawker atmosphere. Non-air-conditioned, but the ceiling fan is strong.
Price: $3.50 at the time of review - good value for money.
Overall, I would recommend it if you love hum in laksa!

"High-quality laksa with a nice broth. The owner is very dedicated to her craft. I wish there was an option to add chicken for a more filling meal.
Don't miss it when you're dining at OTH!"

"Love, love, LOVE their laksa! πππ I never fail to crave it! It always hits the spot when I have a laksa craving, with their delicious broth and flavor-filled noodles. Plus, the serving size for the $2.80 option is really generous, and the shop auntie was nice, friendly, and patient both times I bought from them. Be careful with the chili, though, if you arenβt good with spice, as it packs a punch! π 10/10, would recommend to everyone I know!"
