Our Tampines Hub recently played host to the vibrant Let's Talk News Festival, a key event within the ongoing SG60 celebrations. This meaningful initiative was a collaborative effort between SPH Media and SPH Foundation, alongside their valued sponsors and community partners. The festival's core mission was to introduce the 'Let’s Talk News Community News Sharing' program, designed to champion active ageing and foster a culture of lifelong learning within our community.

Over two engaging days, visitors to the hub immersed themselves in a variety of interactive activities. From stimulating discussions to practical wellness tips, there was something for everyone keen on expanding their knowledge and improving their well-being. A token of appreciation, in the form of goodie bags, ensured that participants left with not just new insights but also a memorable takeaway from this enriching experience.

The festival was graced by the esteemed presence of Mayor Baey Yam Keng 马炎庆, Adviser to Tampines GRC GROs, who attended as the Guest-of-Honour for the launch on Sunday afternoon. His participation underscored the significance of community engagement and the festival's objectives.

The success of the Let's Talk News Festival was truly a testament to the community's spirit. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited, participated, and contributed to the wonderful conversations and vibrant atmosphere that filled the space. Events like these reinforce the importance of coming together to learn, share, and grow as a community.
