A Day of Connection and Purpose: The Let's Get H.I.P. Celebration at Our Tampines Hub
Our Tampines Hub recently played host to the vibrant Let’s Get H.I.P (Healthy, Interdependent, Purposeful) celebration, an event that brought the community together for a meaningful day of engagement. In a special collaboration with Presbyterian Community Services (PCS), the celebration served a dual purpose: marking PCS’s significant 50th Anniversary and commemorating SG60, Singapore's ongoing journey.
The festivities were graced by the presence of Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Adviser to Tampines GRC GROs, who joined in the spirit of the occasion. Attendees enjoyed a diverse range of activities, from a symbolic 1km senior walk that promoted active aging, to engaging community booths, adaptive sports demonstrations, and a lively concert that filled the air with cheer. Each element was designed to foster interaction and shared enjoyment among all participants.
Throughout the day, smiles were abundant, reflecting a strong sense of shared purpose and community spirit. The Let’s Get H.I.P. celebration successfully underscored the importance of movement, connection, and collective well-being. It was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when we come together to build healthier, more connected communities for everyone.
