An aerial view dated 28 November 2014 documents Tampines Stadium during its early redevelopment phase. Ground-level excavation, cranes, rebar frameworks and temporary structures marked the start of works for the new 50,000-seat venue, which replaced the old 1936 structure. Residential blocks and commercial complexes already surrounded the site at the time.

Our Tampines Hub is asking residents to share their favourite throwback memories of Tampines in the comments of its Facebook post.
