MCCY Short Film Series on Singapore Pledge Values Coming Soon
The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) is producing an upcoming series of short films that explore what the Singapore Pledge means in everyday life. The series features everyday Singaporeans from different generations sharing personal stories about how they live out shared values such as being "one united people" and embracing one another "regardless of race, language or religion."
Everyday Singaporeans Share Personal Stories
The short films feature a range of Singaporeans, including a man with tattoos on both forearms wearing an orange button-up shirt over a black t-shirt and glasses. The series aims to show how the words of the Pledge translate into real-life experiences across different generations and communities in Singapore.
