Celebrating Cinema: The Indian Film Festival 2026 Returns to Our Tampines Hub
Film enthusiasts in Singapore have a remarkable cultural experience to look forward to this March. The Indian Film Festival 2026 is set to take over Our Tampines Hub for a single, unforgettable Sunday, showcasing a curated selection of cinematic gems that bridge the gap between contemporary award-winners and timeless classics.
A Blend of Modern Excellence and Nostalgic Hits
Organized in collaboration with the High Commission of India in Singapore, the festival's lineup is headlined by the critically acclaimed film, Boong. Recently honored as the Best Children’s and Family Film at the BAFTA Film Awards 2026, Boong has been captivating international audiences with its poignant storytelling. This screening offers a rare opportunity for local viewers to experience a world-class production that has set a new benchmark for family-oriented cinema.
In addition to modern masterpieces, the festival is bringing back two of the most beloved films in Indian history due to overwhelming popular demand. Whether you are revisiting the heartwarming humor and life lessons of 3 Idiots or the sweeping romance of the legendary Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, these screenings promise to recapture the magic and laughter that made these movies iconic.
