Discover Deepavali at Our Tampines Hub: Free Festive Activities Till 8 Nov
Our Tampines Hub has launched Discover Deepavali at OTH, a free festival celebration running now till 8 November 2026 at Festive South and Festive Walk West. Visitors can explore glowing diya displays, hands-on craft workshops, and cultural exhibitions suitable for the whole family.
The event, part of the People's Association, brings the Festival of Lights to life with vibrant colours and meaningful traditions. All activities are free of charge.
Diyas & Educational Exhibition
At Festive South, visitors can admire glowing lotus diyas and learn about the stories behind Deepavali through an educational display. Panels explain the defeat of Narakasura, the defeat of Ravana, and Sikhism's Bandi Chhor Divas, with a crossword-style activity titled "What Did You Learn?" to engage younger visitors. The exhibition runs daily from 12pm to 8pm.
Hands-On Craft Workshops
Children and adults can try their hand at Rangoli Sand Art and colourful Origami crafts on 31 October, 1, 7 and 8 November, from 12pm to 8pm at Festive South. Participants create their own mandala-style masterpieces, as seen in the event's early visitor photos, and take home a festive keepsake.
Tampines Central IAEC Booth
The Tampines Central IAEC Booth at Festive Walk West invites visitors to connect and celebrate cultural traditions from 31 October to 6 November, 12pm to 8pm. The booth offers a space for community engagement and cultural exchange during the festive period.
Discover Deepavali at OTH is free and open to all. Bring your family and friends to Festive South and Festive Walk West at Our Tampines Hub to enjoy the displays, create your own sand art, and capture festive photos. The celebration runs daily till 8 November 2026.
