"The portion size is good for the price. I appreciate that the meat and rice are packed separately for takeaway. Overall, the taste of the beef don is just average."

Service was excellent. The table and chair layout seems somewhat sporadic. It could still be improved. The dons are good, up to Yoshinoya's standard. However, the Shio Ramen is bad. It's super bland, and the noodle texture could be improved.

Ordered the karaage chicken kids set for my boy. The chicken seemed to have been refried; it was tough and dry. Very disappointed.

"The food was good, but the experience was ruined by the rude cleaner. They were watching us while we were finishing our food and kept staring at us, gesturing for us to leave, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded and it wasn't close to closing time. We both ordered the student meals with drinks included, and when we decided to pour one of our green tea packets into a cup of ice, the cleaner told us there were no outside food or drinks allowed. It was just a packet of green tea, and we had spent $19 on food. We both had drinks as part of our meals, but we didn't like the green tea that was available. I would have understood the rude and disrespectful behavior if we had come in with our own food and drinks without buying anything, but we didn't. This will be my first and last visit. I even liked the food, but sadly, the staff ruined it for us. 1/10 service."

The Chicken Karage is pretty good—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It also comes with a nice bowl of Miso soup! The beef bowl is not bad either. For hot green tea, you can get unlimited refills from their hot water machine. One thing that affected me was the air conditioning. The shop is situated beside an automated glass door, which is next to the carpark where people are constantly coming in and out. That's probably why it felt pretty stuffy. Overall, the renovation is new. If it weren't for the air conditioning, I would give it 4/5 stars.

"Quick service. The rice bowl comes with miso soup. It would be better if it also came with complimentary green tea. Chilli powder is available at the counter when you collect your order. There are two self-order kiosks at this branch."

The location is good; it's on B1 and quite easy to find. There's ample seating available. They also have a kids' meal, which is really good. The price was reasonable. We ordered chicken karaage and ramen noodles. The meal was good. The staff was not bad, but the service was a little slow, likely because they have a very small crew. 🍜🍛🍲🍥🍚🍱🍘🍡🍙🥠🥗🥣🍝🥘🍗🥩🥓🧀🍖🍤🍣🦪🍢🍧🍨

I've always liked Yoshinoya and have tried their outlets in both Japan and Singapore. So, it's good to have an outlet here in Tampines.

"This was my first time here today. The food is good; we had the beef and unagi, along with a salad and a drink. It's not an economical meal, but the quality of the food is decent. Uncle Robert was the true superstar. He was friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Staff like him are the heart of an eatery."
