The teachers have effectively helped my kids master their letter sounds and build a good foundation for their reading skills. The administrative staff is friendly and helps address concerns. My kids enjoy their classes here.

"My experience with My English School Tampines was less than satisfactory. Despite my child's obvious advancement, the teacher failed to place them in an appropriate class, resulting in wasted time each week. Instead of challenging my child further, they were left to draw after completing their work. It wasn't until I inquired with customer service that any action was taken. This lack of initiative suggests a focus on profit over student progress. Additionally, the mishandling of the waiting list further highlights a need for better communication and accountability within the management. Reflection and improvement are necessary for a more effective and customer-centric approach."

I sent my first child to MES Tampines in 2018 just for a trial. In the end, I witnessed my child’s great progression in her English Language from Day 1 until now. Thanks to MES for building my child’s solid English foundation, which enables her to have a great interest in English. With the good results from one child, I subsequently sent my other two children to MES Tampines when they both reached N2/K1. They always look forward to coming to MES. Thanks to the teachers for making the class so interesting. All the teachers are highly qualified and professional. I am grateful to have Teacher Shaz teaching my two kids. Thank you.

My son started his class at 3 years old, making him one of the youngest students. He was afraid during his first lesson because it was a big class. The school recommended a smaller class, in which he felt comfortable after the second session. Thereafter, under the caring and patient Teacher Vivienne, he progressed and was promoted to the next level in less than a year.

My children's reading has improved a lot after attending their lessons, and I no longer need to worry as much about their spelling. The teachers are knowledgeable and will help to improve their weaknesses. The admin staff is also friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to my family and friends!

"I'd consider 1 star a bonus; if I could, I'd give 0 stars. Avoid this place at all costs. The so-called teacher, Keith, will scream at you and your 3-year-old child, and, even worse, kick your child out of class. He threatened that no refund would be given when we forgot to bring the book. Lousy management, lousy teachers. Don't waste your time going there."
