Give Your Items a Second Life: Repair Kopitiam Returns This January

In an age of fast consumption, the art of fixing what we already own is becoming more vital than ever. Choosing to repair rather than replace is one of the most effective ways to reduce waste and minimize our environmental footprint. When we make a broken item good again, we eliminate the need for new manufacturing and keep functional materials out of our landfills.

Repair Kopitiam Singapore is proud to announce that bookings are officially open for our upcoming community repair session. This initiative is designed to empower residents by providing the knowledge and tools needed to bring "broken" household goods back to life, fostering a culture of sustainability and self-sufficiency.

Expert Guidance for Your Repairs

On Sunday, January 18th, our dedicated team of volunteer coaches will be on hand to guide you through the repair process. Between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, you can bring your "barang" down to learn the ropes of maintenance and restoration. This is more than just a repair service; it is a coaching experience where you work alongside experts to understand how your items function and how to keep them in working order.

How to Participate

To ensure that every participant receives the proper guidance and that safety standards are met, all items must be registered and approved in advance. If you have an item that needs a little TLC, you can register it for the upcoming session at www.repairkopitiam.sg/register. Please keep in mind that Repair Kopitiam Singapore only accepts items that have gone through this registration and approval process.

Join us in saying "YES" to wasting less and help build a more sustainable Singapore. For more information on our mission and future events, visit repairkopitiam.sg or follow the community’s journey on Instagram @repairkopitiam.
