OTH Table Tennis League: Reinvigorating Competitive Play
Get ready for an exciting return to competitive table tennis! The OTH Table Tennis League, a collaborative effort between Our Tampines Hub and Tampines West CSN, is set to launch in 2026. This eagerly anticipated event aims to revive the spirit of the former Singapore National Table Tennis League, offering a structured and inclusive platform for players across the nation.
What to Expect from the League
The OTH Table Tennis League is designed to foster fair competition and broad participation. Teams will be meticulously grouped into various divisions, with initial placements determined by their performance in the OTH Table Tennis Open Team Classification Championship. One of the league's most notable features is its inclusivity: team compositions are open to all, irrespective of gender, age, citizenship, or nationality. The only restriction is that each team may field a maximum of two national-level players, ensuring a balanced and competitive environment for everyone.
The Road to the League: Classification Championship 2025
The foundation for the 2026 league was laid during the OTH Table Tennis Open Team Classification Championship. Held over two weekends, April 19-20 and May 3-4, 2025, at the Community Auditorium in Our Tampines Hub, this crucial event served to categorize participating teams into six distinct divisions. These divisions will form the backbone of the upcoming league, promising exciting matchups and a progressive competitive structure.
Join the Action!
For teams that successfully qualified during the 2025 Classification Championship, invitations to confirm participation in the 2026 league will be extended soon. But the opportunity isn't limited to them! Registration for Division 7 is now open for teams who did not participate in the 2025 Classification Championship but are eager to join the league.
