North East CDC Offers Up to $15,000 for Colorectal Cancer Screening Support
Colorectal cancer ranks among the most common cancers in Singapore, but early detection can save lives. The North East CDC has launched the Cancer Warrior Support Scheme to help eligible residents access screening, diagnosis, and treatment with financial assistance of up to $15,000.
The scheme targets Singapore citizens residing in Tampines GRC or Tampines Changkat SMC who are men and women aged 50 and above. Applicants must not have undergone a Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) in the past year or a colonoscopy in the past 10 years.
Eligibility requires a household monthly income per person of $1,500 or less, or holding a CHAS Blue card. Participants who receive positive FIT results qualify for the financial assistance to support their screening, diagnosis, and treatment journey.
The programme is supported by the People's Association and SingHealth, with Tampines @ FairPine also listed as a partner. Terms and conditions apply to the financial assistance amount.
Residents can register and find out more at go.gov.sg/cwsscolorectal. A QR code is also available on the campaign poster for quick registration access.
