The Body Shop Relocates to Tampines Mall #02-30 — Opening Deals and a MongaBong Masterclass
The Body Shop has moved up a floor at Tampines Mall. The relocated store opened on 16 July 2026 at #02-30, next to Din Tai Fung, with a six-day opening celebration running 14 to 19 July built around rotating daily deals, a mystery gift with a $20 spend, and a beauty masterclass with Singapore influencer Mong Chin Yeoh, better known as MongaBong, on Saturday 18 July.
The move from Level 1 to Level 2 is a refresh rather than a rethink. The new store carries the brand's full range of skincare, body care and haircare, including the Ginger Haircare collection that anchors the opening. The Body Shop is spotlighting Ginger because it is the brand's bestselling haircare line globally, with one bottle of Ginger Shampoo sold every seven seconds worldwide over the past decade. For east-side shoppers, the practical point is that the relocated store is bigger, sits next to a major F&B anchor, and the opening week deals run only through 19 July.
Opening week deals, day by day
The four-day celebration stacks three promotions. The first 80 customers each day who spend a minimum of $20 on regular-priced items receive a mystery gift, so arriving early in the day matters. Daily flash sales take 30 percent off selected 250ml Shower Gels, with the scent rotating daily: British Rose on 16 July, Grapefruit on 17 July, Olive on 18 July, and Moringa on 19 July. A Buy 2, Get 1 Free promotion runs across 400ml Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner, which is the moment to stock up on the brand's signature haircare line if you already use it.
There is also a small gift-with-spend mechanic worth knowing about before you queue. Spend $20 on regular-priced items and you get a mystery gift (limited to the first 80 daily). The shower gel flash sale and the Ginger Buy 2 Get 1 Free sit on top of that, so a single trip can stack two of the three if you time it right.
MongaBong masterclass on 18 July
The headline event of the opening week is the Beauty Masterclass with MongaBong on Saturday 18 July, run as Store Manager for the Day. Two sessions are available: 1.00pm to 2.00pm and 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Registration costs S$20 per session, which is fully redeemable on products, and every participant receives a complimentary goodie bag worth more than S$50 filled with The Body Shop favourites. The masterclass covers beauty tips featuring the Ginger Haircare range alongside the brand's skincare and body care favourites, followed by a meet-and-greet.
At $20 with a $50+ goodie bag and full product redemption, the masterclass is effectively free if you were going to buy products anyway. Two sessions means the slots are limited, so registering ahead through the store is sensible rather than walking in on the day and hoping.
The Ginger range, explained
The Ginger Haircare collection is the three-step routine the opening promotion is built around. The Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, Ginger Scalp Care Conditioner and Ginger Scalp Serum are formulated to reduce dandruff, soothe sensitive scalps and promote fuller, healthier-looking hair. The shampoo has been the brand's bestselling haircare product since its introduction in the early 1990s, and the Buy 2 Get 1 Free on the 400ml sizes is the cheapest way to load up on it during the opening window. If you have never used the range, the masterclass on 18 July is the cheapest introduction, since the $20 fee converts straight into product credit.
