Tampines Sport Centre (淡滨尼体育中心) and Tampines Swimming Complex (淡滨尼游泳中心) are shut for the entire day on Monday, 26 October 2026. ActiveSG lists the same "Entire Facility" notice on the sport centre page, the pool page, and the Tampines ActiveSG Gym page. If you booked a lane, a court, or a gym slot at Our Tampines Hub (淡滨尼天地), 1 Tampines Walk, do not turn up. The notice is for today only. The usual Tuesday pool maintenance still sits on the calendar after this.
The pool lives on Level 6. The gym is on Level 7, with lift access at Lobby A. The sport centre desk is on 63853718. ActiveSG gives no extra reason beyond "upgrading, maintenance, urgent repair or events," so treat the closure as all ActiveSG spaces in the hub: sheltered pool, gym, Community Auditorium badminton courts, and the Team Sports Hall. Town Square stadium, where Geylang International (芽笼国际) host Hougang United (后港联) at 7.30pm tonight, is a People's Association pitch. That match is a separate operator. The ActiveSG lock does not cancel kick-off at the stadium.
This Monday shutdown is extra. The swimming complex already closes every Tuesday for weekly maintenance. On a normal Monday the pool runs 8.00am to 9.30pm, with a 6.30am to 8.00am window on the training pool only, the same early slot as Wednesday and Friday. If Tuesday is a public holiday the pool opens 8.00am to 9.30pm instead of shutting. None of that applies today. The sport centre and gym hours on a normal day are 7.00am to 10.00pm. Check the ActiveSG facilities closure list before you retarget another East-side gym tomorrow.
The facility page labels Tampines Swimming Complex a Normal type pool, with a sheltered tank, a pool wheelchair, an accessible toilet, and a ramp into the training pool. Sport Singapore's individual rates page, last updated 25 August 2026, still names Our Tampines Hub in the Special Features list next to Choa Chu Kang, Jurong East, Jurong West, Pasir Ris, Sengkang, Heartbeat@Bedok, and WCH Arena. Buy against the rate table that matches the pass you hold. Do not assume the cheaper Normal weekday adult ticket of $1.00 for Singapore citizens and PRs if the gate is charging the Special Features adult weekday rate of $1.50. Weekend and public-holiday Normal rates for citizens and PRs are $1.30 adult and $0.60 child or senior. Special Features weekend rates are $2.00 adult and $1.00 child or senior. Standard (non-resident) Normal weekday adult is $1.30. Phone 63853718 if the two pages still disagree when you next swim.
Gym walk-in rates are simpler. ActiveGYM adult Singapore citizen or PR is $2.50, standard $3.30. Student or senior citizen is $1.50. MyActiveGYM peak monthly for adults is $30. Off-peak monthly is $15, Monday to Friday until 4.00pm except public holidays. MyActiveSWIM unlimited monthly is $10 adult and $5 child or senior, island-wide, which is the cheaper way to sit out a one-day closure if you already hold the pass. After the mid-October haze pause, ActiveSG said all facilities resumed from 17 October 2026. Today is a planned lock, not haze.
Nearest MRT is Tampines (EW2 / DT32), then the interchange walk into 1 Tampines Walk. Buses 3, 10, 20, 22, 23, 31, 34, 39, 65, 67, 292 and 293 serve the hub. The PA community club office at #04-01 is 63403636, our_tampines_hub@pa.gov.sg, 10.00am to 6.00pm. That desk does not reopen the pool. For a same-day swim, the next ActiveSG complexes with water features are Heartbeat@Bedok and Pasir Ris. For a gym, check live crowd counts on the ActiveSG app before you travel. Tuesday 27 October 2026 the pool is shut again for its weekly clean. Wednesday 28 October 2026 is the first full training-pool morning after this extra Monday.
