Our Tampines Hub recently played host to a truly heartwarming afternoon, as over 180 preschoolers and their families gathered to celebrate the Pre-School Transition Starter Kit 2025. This significant event, organized by NECDC, marked an important milestone for young learners preparing to embark on their primary school journey.
A Day of Joy and Inspiration
The celebration commenced with an energetic dance performance by ABC Children’s Place, setting a joyful tone for the day. Attendees were then treated to inspiring addresses from distinguished guests, including the Guest-of-Honour, Adviser to Tampines GRC GROs, Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Mayor Baey Yam Keng 马炎庆, and Dr Charlene Chen 陈以君. Their words offered encouragement and insights, reinforcing the community's commitment to supporting early childhood education.
Engaging Activities for Families
Beyond the formal addresses, families enjoyed a variety of engaging activities designed to foster excitement and readiness for school. Adorable photo-taking opportunities on stage created cherished memories, while a fun and informative sharing session by the National Library Board sparked curiosity and a love for reading. The highlight for many was undoubtedly the vibrant carnival, featuring interactive booths from esteemed partners such as ActiveSG, Families for Life (MSF), and POSB/DBS Bank, providing both entertainment and valuable resources.
