Our Tampines Hub Hosts Sustainability Workshops with Microgreens Planting

Our Tampines Hub hosted two eco-friendly community sessions on Saturday, bringing residents together for hands-on sustainability activities. Participants took part in a sensory walk at the OTH Wellness Garden and a reusable food wraps workshop at Function Room 2.

The first session invited participants to enjoy a peaceful sensory walk through the OTH Wellness Garden, followed by hands-on planting of fresh, nutritional microgreens to grow at home. The activity combined outdoor wellness with practical urban gardening skills.

Over at Function Room 2, residents learnt how to ditch single-use plastics by crafting their own reusable, sustainable food wraps. The workshop offered a practical alternative to disposable plastic wrap for everyday food storage.

Our Tampines Hub thanked all participants for embracing a greener lifestyle and encouraged residents to stay tuned to its social media channels for upcoming wellness and sustainability workshops.
