Empowering Seniors: Navigating the Digital World with Confidence and Safety
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, staying connected with loved ones and accessing essential services online has become a fundamental part of daily life. However, with these opportunities come new challenges, particularly regarding online security. To help our community members navigate the internet with ease and peace of mind, we are pleased to announce an upcoming Cyber Safety & Digital Skills workshop tailored specifically for seniors.
Hands-On Learning for the Modern World
This workshop is designed to provide more than just theory. Participants will engage in hands-on training and receive personalized guidance from experienced facilitators. Whether you are looking to improve your smartphone navigation or want to understand the latest security features on your devices, this session offers a supportive environment to build your confidence and technical proficiency.
Protecting Yourself Against Scams
A primary focus of the session will be scam awareness. As digital fraud becomes increasingly sophisticated, learning how to identify red flags is a vital skill. We will walk through real-world examples of common scams and provide practical tips on how to keep your personal information secure, ensuring you can enjoy the benefits of the digital world safely.
Join Us at Our Tampines Hub
The workshop will take place on Sunday, 8 February 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. We will be gathering at Our Tampines Hub, located in the Level 2 Space. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills while connecting with others in the community who are also looking to enhance their digital literacy.
