PAssionArts Festival 2026 at Tampines North CC: Free Crafts, Art and Live Music on 8 August
Tampines North CC hosts its PAssionArts Festival (PAF) 2026 on Saturday, 8 August 2026, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at the PAF Village on Level 3. Held in conjunction with the National Day Carnival, the event offers free entry with no registration required. Visitors can walk in and participate in hands-on craft workshops, view a community art installation, and catch live music performances.
Free Craft Workshops and Snacks
Five craft activities run across Level 3 at Tampines North CC. At the Culinary Studio, visitors can make an Iced Gem Biscuit Magnet, transforming a nostalgic childhood treat into a clay fridge magnet. Room #03-02 hosts Lady TN's Flower Shop, where participants colour and craft a paper flower bouquet, and Uncle TN's Badge Making, where visitors design a personalised badge.
Room #03-05 features Wooden Tray Marbling, where participants swirl vibrant colours into a marbled tray, and Shrink Art Keychain, where artwork shrinks into a personalised keepsake. Free snacks including popcorn, candy floss, potato wheels and iced gem biscuits will be available for visitors throughout the evening.
Between Waves and Droplets: Community Art Installation
The festival also features a community art installation titled "Between Waves and Droplets," co-created by artist Esther Ng with participants from Tampines North Primary School, Gongshang Primary School, EN Community Services Society at Tampines North, and PCF Sparkletots Preschool at Tampines North Blk 483. The installation weaves together strips of fabric from old clothing transformed into flowing waves, alongside clear acrylic balls decorated as droplets carrying memories, wishes and dreams.
The installation will be on display at Level 3, Tampines North CC, starting from 8 August for the next three months. Together, the fabric waves and acrylic droplets form a collective landscape of stories, hopes and connections contributed by residents and students.
Live Music Performances
Four performers take the stage during the festival evening. Jean Kyaw, a finalist on Channel 5's The Final One, brings experience from stages across Singapore. Ryan Supian, a singer-songwriter and Best Theme Song winner at Pesta Perarda, is a familiar face on the local live music scene.
Morgan Law, a two-time Singapore Chinese Songwriting Festival (SGSW) award recipient, performs as an acoustic storyteller bringing timeless classics to life. Yohannis Kasmani, a multilingual powerhouse, performs his bilingual single "Love Deserter," which won multiple awards at SGSW and went viral on Douyin.
The PAssionArts Festival 2026 takes place at Tampines North CC, Level 3, on Saturday, 8 August 2026, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Admission is free with no registration required. The community club is closed on public holidays.
