Embroidery Workshop at OTH Wellness Garden Welcomes Saturday Crafters
Our Tampines Hub hosted an Art and Craft: Embroidery workshop at the OTH Wellness Garden on Saturday morning. Participants learned needlework techniques, exploring different stitching methods to create textured patterns, vibrant colors, and detailed floral motifs on fabric. Each attendee took home a handcrafted hoop masterpiece from the session.
Hands-On Stitching in a Garden Setting
The workshop took place on the wooden deck of the OTH Wellness Garden, where participants sat at tables equipped with scissors, thread spools, and fabric. Attendees worked on small embroidered pieces while surrounded by greenery and decorative elements in the rooftop garden area. One participant gave a thumbs-up while holding her completed embroidered item.
Pineapple Motifs and Floral Designs
Participants embroidered a variety of motifs during the session, including a pineapple design stitched on light blue fabric stretched within a wooden hoop. Scattered threads and tools covered the workspace as crafters focused on their detailed needlework. The workshop encouraged participants to experiment with different stitching techniques to bring their fabric designs to life.
A Relaxed Creative Morning
The session brought together a group of participants who sat around tables under a white tent, working on their embroidery projects in a communal atmosphere. The outdoor setting, framed by greenery and urban buildings in the background, provided a calm environment for the hands-on crafting activity.
