Celebrating Malay Language and Heritage at Our Tampines Hub

A Vibrant Showcase of Culture and Wellness
Our Tampines Hub recently hosted a vibrant celebration for Bulan Bahasa 2025, the annual Malay Language Month. The Festive Walk West transformed into a bustling hub of activity, inviting residents and families to delve into the rich traditions of Malay healing and wellness. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the wonders of indigenous herbs and spices, such as aromatic lemongrass, potent turmeric, and invigorating ginger, learning about their cultural and medicinal significance.
The event was graced by Dr Koh Poh Koon, Adviser to Tampines GRC GROs, who joined in the festivities. Dr Koh mingled with residents, lending his support to the meaningful occasion and witnessing firsthand the community's dedication to preserving its cultural roots.
A heartfelt appreciation goes out to everyone who participated, contributing to the success of Bulan Bahasa 2025. Your involvement plays a crucial role in keeping Malay heritage alive through the celebration of language, culture, and wellness. Together, we continue to celebrate and preserve the diverse tapestry that enriches our community.
