Job Description & Requirements:
Ø Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Ø Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in WSH role.
Ø Mandatory experience in tunnelling projects.
Ø Prior experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is required.
Ø Strong understanding of ISO 45001.
Ø Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ø Experience in digital safety initiatives is an advantage.
Ø Provide Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) enforcement support.
Ø Identify and assess foreseeable risks arising from workplace or work processes.
Ø Ensure compliance with company safety policies and Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA).
Ø Advise on work plans, risk assessments and safe work procedures.
Ø Recommend and implement practical measures to eliminate foreseeable risks.
Ø Inspect and examine machinery, equipment, plant, and workplace installations.
Ø Organize safety and health awareness programs for the site.
Ø Conduct site safety and health audits, inspections, and meetings.
Ø Prepare hazard analysis reports and safety management programs.
Ø Maintain and compile safety reports, records, and documents.
Ø Implement digitalization efforts, including preparations of Activity-Based Safety Improvement System (ABSIS) and training videos.
Ø Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the WSH Manager
