Job Description

• Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
• Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system
• Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, installation.
• Functions as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of the hazardous works.
• Conduct EHS induction course for new employees and contractors.
• Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure are brief to workers and sub-contractor.
• Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
• Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Permit to works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
• Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain and monitor EHS records/ checklists.
• Participate and facilitate in Internal/External audits.
• Investigate and report WSH all incidents & near misses.
• Conduct WSH and other related training.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.

Requirements

• WSQ advance certificate in WSH or Safety Coordinator training course.
• WAH assessor certificate.
• Risk management course.
• Confined space Certificate.
• Process plant Certificate.
• Responsible and with a good attitude.
• A team player and ability to work independently.
• Minimum 2 years experience in WSH-related industry.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
