Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  2. Manage and supervise site personnel, including subcontractors and direct workers.
  3. Liaise with subcon to plan, arrange and execute construction activities.
  4. Liaise with design department to confirm and clarify design issues.
  5. Ensure quality of work done conform to specifications.
  6. Able to coordinate well with MEP department
  7. Prepare and maintain detailed site records, including progress reports, material tracking, and quality control documentation.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols on site, conducting regular safety inspections.
  9. Liaise with RE, RTOs and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  10. Resolve site-related issues and conflicts effectively and efficiently.
  11. Manage and coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials.
  12. Prepare and submit progress reports.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant Singaporean building codes and regulations.
  14. Contribute to the continuous improvement of site processes and efficiency.
  15. Able to handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by superior and management

Qualifications:

  • Min Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer in Singapore's construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Good knowledge of Singaporean building codes and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD
