Customer Service Executive (MUST have Freight forwarding /Sea freight)

• Position : Customer Service Executive (Freight forwarding /Sea freight)
• Location : Tampines Industrial Crescent
• Working hours : 5 working days, Monday-Friday 8:30- 5:30
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Gross up $3500 + Performance Bonus
• Duration : Perm
• Industry : Freight Forwarding Industry

Main Responsibilities:

• Attending to Customer’s enquiries and booking of shipments
• Arrange for space bookings and monitoring
• Liaise closely with Import/Export Department for smooth execution for all jobs
• Preparation of all pre-alerts to all respective stations prior to arrival and departure of shipping
• Checking of arriving and uplift details each morning and also keep all Customers informed of the acquired information
• To check and ensure customers special request/handling is duly complied
• Deal with the respective parties effectively & efficiently, using a diplomacy and negotiation skills
• Good fillings systems and proper housekeeping
• Build and improve good working relationships with the internal and external customers

Requirements:

• At least 2 year experience in freight forwarding (Sea freight)
• GCE’O’ Level & above
• Independent as well as a term player with initiative, willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Proficient in MS office applications
• Must be able to operate efficiently under pressure and able to multi
