Associate Tax Director

Proposed Job Description (if needed):

We are looking for an Associate Tax Director to join our growing team. The role is ideal for a motivated individual who is familiar with Taiwan and Greater China tax frameworks and eager to build expertise in Singapore’s tax and regulatory landscape.

Proposed Key Responsibilities:

· Provide high-quality Singapore tax advisory services to corporate clients primarily from Taiwan, China and the wider Greater China region.

· Advise on corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax, personal tax, and cross-border tax implications.

· Assist clients in structuring investments, setting up operations in Singapore and navigating local regulatory requirements.

· Oversees the preparation and timely filing of tax returns for clients.

· Communicate tax concepts clearly and professionally to clients who prefer to communicate in Mandarin.

· Review and prepare client-facing material, reports and email communications in Traditional Chinese where required.

· Work with the Director to build and expand the firm’s tax service line focus on Taiwan and China clients.

· Participate and collaborate with colleagues in other engagement

· Support GST filings and assist with GST registration applications.

Proposed Requirements (if needed):

· Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

· Familiarity with Taiwan and China tax or cross-border structuring (preferred)

· Proficiency in reading and writing Traditional Chinese is required; ability to converse fluently in Mandarin is a strong advantage.

· Experience handling Taiwan and China clients is highly preferred.

· Entrepreneurial mindset, strong client management skills and willingness to grow with a developing firm.
